I just found out bad news about a dog we took care of :(?

A college student left a puppy boxer for us to take care of for about a month because she couldnt take care of it, and I was absolutely attatched to it. I walked it, and it loved to play and run around which made me obsessed. After about a month we had to give her back to her owner, which was trying to sell for it. She felt bad for the boxer, so she sold it for anything she got for the boxer as long as it was a good family. I begged my parents to keep her but they said no. I told them that I felt like it was meant to be our dog the way she acted with the family. Now, about 5 months later we got a call saying she was being cared for by the college students parents when it broke loose on the farm, and tried to attack the tractor (The way puppys act when they see you vacuuming.) And got completely crushed by it. It really bothers me that it wasnt even a clean death. I am really sad lately because I loved that dog. I keep thinking about playing with her and taking her for walks :(

wow that's tragic! can't say if there was negligence involved or not in this case. I've had my dogs out around tractors and horses and they were good but I do have a lab that I've had to do a lot of work to prevent him from chasing cars. He must think he's taking down some giant roving monster? Dogs just don't understand that a motorized machine is not a wild animal to be hunted down like they want it to be. You sound like you had a great time taking care of the dog. Too bad you couldnt have kept it. I wouldnt doubt if the people that got the dog probably simply turned it out to roam their place - that just doesnt cut it as training or responsible care in my opinion.

you mustn't have such undesirable flea issues in case you're consistent on your attack. First call the vet - there are pills that the pets can take which will kill all the fleas on them for twenty-four hours. the subsequent day every person gets Frontline. carry on with Frontline each 3 WEEKS. Get a carpet spray from an exterminator - you like expert stuff. The canine and cat could be considered via your vet, they might have anemia brought about via too many flea bites and the vet might have some thing to appease their aggravated epidermis. you're able to be consistent on your attitude and you're able to vacuum each floor floor customary and throw out the bag. Use a flea comb and help the pets eliminate the pests. An exterminator can extremely make a distinction via fact they have products which you would be able to no longer get. With one in each of those undesirable infestation it may be nicely genuinely worth the rate.

thats horrible! but theres nothing you can really do. at least you know that although it was short that puppy had a good life and had lots of people to love and care for it. which is much better than the puppies who are bought to fight and never know love all they know is pain. you gave that puppy all you could and thats all you can do. make peace with it and you will heal eventually. it takes time. good luck you you hun
