Movies, movies, movies, movies????????

I am looking for the name of a movie that I cannot remember....I will describe it as best I can.......All I remember is that it was produced in 1987 and that there are these little furry aliens that you cannot kill.....if you try to kill them the will multiply...like if you were to cut one of them in half there would be two of them.....I can remember one scene where a teenager cut one in half and he thought he killed it....but while he was in the living room jamming to his music on his head phones the alien was coming back to life....the alien then decided to blast the music right in the guys ears....now at the end of the movie all I can remember is that they were turned to stone....thats how they were stopped......please, please can someone help me find out the name of this movie????????

IT IS NOT ANY OF THE GREMLINS MOVIES OR CRITTERS MOVIES I OWN THEM ALL.....besides they can be directly killed....the aliens in my movie cannot be killed directly!!
