What of these prisms of belief? So many forms and manifestations of religion? Cosmic flowering or hierarchy?
Is it that we need all these different variations or is it that there are always more alpha leader types than there are posts to fill with them?
Now I know it is supposed to be about humility...but lets face it...some just find themselves stepping up because others step back and so on, but the outcome is the same.
Persoanlly, I think it is a bit of both. I have seen both.
I like that St. Toad, I like that very much! Too bad that point illudes so many...cough, cough!

The sheer variety of human spiritual expression, world wide, points to Something. It's not all driven by charisma and dominance, though those are a part of the mix. Abstract thought has done more to push our sentience than anything else. It led our species to be wildly successful. Lets not throw out the baby with the bath water.

I was reading about that today incidentally..we have to tolerate each person's choice & decision as everyone finds their own path,their own truth..what might resonate with one doesn't with another & just as we are all different & unique, so is our beliefs..
different beliefs & religions are different branches of the same tree..
it's better to find our own truth & let others find thiers..it's great & is human nature to like others who are on the same wavelengh as ours & agree with us...but it doesn't mean others are wrong or that we should think they should believe our beliefs..
