PC making popping noises?
what causes a popping noise, like a bursting bubble on my laptop. also why is it freezing every so often.

Your description is not very clear but the only times I heard the computer make a sound comparable to popping is when there was an imminent hard drive failure.
It could also be a electric short but that would surprise me.

You've probably have asked other people this question before, but in any case: Power supply may be failing. This may also explain the freezing issue (depending on the frequency of the freezes). I doubt that the battery or motherboard is the the problem.
In my experience, the power supply's popping sounds is different than hard drive failure sounds. I've had a cheap power supply do a loud "pop" and puff out smoke before. It startled other people in the room because the case cover was off at the time.
Just take your laptop to a pc technician to verify the problem.

power supply FAN, and/or CPU FAN.
solution: buy a can of comressed air, at your local store.
open up your computer and dust off dirty inside of your PC.

It could be something cought in the CPU fan Vid card fan, or hardrive.. Open it up and look

in line with threat you do not have sufficient power furnish for the gadget. some months in the past i had audio gadget "blow up". fortuitously computing device survived. Are the audio gadget too helpful for gadget?

it means your Processer is fri ing your mother bored. this happend to me. check the fan or cooling divices
