Hewlet Packard Power Supply?

Hey, i am looking for a power supply for an Australian HP. The problem is the power supply that is in it at the moment is not the normall size. It Has the normal bracketing position yet is shorter length wise. You can screw a normal power supply in as the screw positions are in the same place, yet if you put a normal one in the DVD Burner wont fit. I am unsure of the model type but if someone could tell me where i could pick one up it would be apreciated.

Find the part number and manufacturer of that power supply. Look on eBay first --you never know. Then look around online. If you still don't find a match take the printer or that power supply to a local printer repair shop. They normally have access to those kinds of parts, but you'll pay more for it.

You'll need to find the model number of your computer, but if you do an internet search for HP computer parts (or something along those lines) you'll probably be able to find one. Newegg.com is an example of a US one, but I am unsure if they ship overseas. You could also try a local computer parts store, if there is one in your area. Good luck.

Zipzoomfly.com, Geeks.com, Newegg.com, Directron.com, should have the dimensions of their PSU's listed so you can compare size,(and wattage of course).
