Is this dress too unformal for a junior prom?

I love it, but I'm not sure if it's formal enough...While our junior prom is formal, the dresses are usually knee to ankle length not full out ballroom dresses...The type you find in macy's or something.

I'm not sure if the pattern makes it look like a day dress.

I don't like conventional dresses and that's what I love about this one. The color and stripes are so bold!

Should I wear it to junior prom? Or find a less out there dress?

That dress would be acceptable at a casual-formal dance, like homecoming.

Since this is Junior prom, it doesn't need to be a lavish dress that poofs out or anything. But it still needs to be formal. Try something that is about halfway in between your knees and your anlces. Or if you want, ankle length.

I would say something long and simple.

i really really love the dress, its just that the pattern kind of remind me of a day dress and not a formal dress. but if you do decide to get the dress, dress it up with some nice jewelry.

    HAVE FUN AT PROM!

Well if it's a formal prom then I would say it's not formal enough.

I think it's an evening dress, but if you really like then wear it.

If you accessorize it well and still get a more traditionally formal hairdo, you should be fine.

Ask a fasionable friend what she is wearing. If it looks simuler to yours you will be fine
