Filipinos invented the moon buggy Neil Armstrong used, as well as the Fluorescent lamp. The Quink Parker ballpen and the antibiotic Ilusone as well as are also invented by Filipinos. THere are also literally thousands of Filipino inventions which are sold to American companies so they don't get recognized. Aside from Science, Filipinos also drew several cartoong for Hanna Barbera and Marvel Comics, and are the most important animation crews of Pixar, which made A Bug's Life and Finding Nemo.
Simlish, language of the Sims (computer game), is partially based on Tagalog, the basis of the national language of the Philippines.
