When is "fair and balanced" Fox going to give Michael Moore or Bill Maher a full hour?

Hysterical cons shriek constantly about how MSNBC is supposedly "biased". Yet they gave Coulter a full hour last night, answering mostly softball questions on a college campus from sycophantic young Republican types.

When is Fox going to give Moore or Maher an hour, or are they too terrified?

Update:

So you cons agree that Fox doesn't have the institutional fortitude to carry it off. You're probably right.

Update 2:

JoeM: Um, because they're supposed to be "fair and balanced" and constantly attack MSNBC for supposed bias?

Update 3:

Heather S1: I'm not surprised that candidates won't go on Fox. Al Franken has challenged BILLO to another debate for years and BillO is too much of a wuss to take him up on it.

Update 4:

Why does effette wimp BillO have to have Malkin help him debate people? Huh Cons? Why?

Update 5:

Try to process this Cons, pres. candidates aren't going on a hostile network. Is Rudy going on Maher? I didn't think so.

Update 6:

Ken C: Colmes is a total joke. Maybe MSNBC should hire old Bob Dole as a "con" counterpoint.

Update 7:

No one ever said that Moore was a lockstep Dem operative. He has criticized Hillary. Maybe Coulter, with all of her supposed "maverick" thinking, could break with the party line once in a while.

Update 8:

Mel:

I think it would be entertaining. Confrontation is the engine of most of the reality shows after all. I watched Coulter last night, and I think she should be invited back to MSNBC (not too soon).

I guess liberals like real debates more than cons.

Update 9:

Re: the whole Colmes thing, why doesn't Fox give a liberal his OWN show, like MSNBC has Tucker and Scarborough?

Fair and balanced my ***.

Update 10:

Ok, Mr Tads, I ask again, when is Romney going on Maher?

Update 11:

Calling all cons: Fox's ratings are not overall higher than MSNBC's. Yes, Billo's are quite high, but that is only one mere hour.

Plenty of people watch MSNBC.

And do you REALLY think that an hour of Moore on FOX wouldn't exceed Billo's average ratings by a mile? Please.

Update 12:

jnwmom: No, I wasn't talking about MANDATING them to have libs on, I just said it would be a good idea, good for ratings and sort of fun for those who like political discourse. I don't support enforcing the Fairness doctrine, it's a dinosaur.

Update 13:

jnwmom: And, BTW, I think Moore's movie will do just fine, a lot of people want to listen to him.

Update 14:

tttplltt or whatever: What did Reagan do in Beirut, oh yeah, RUN AWAY with his tail between his legs. Sorry to confuse you with the facts.

Neither one are news worthy or have anything of value to add to society. Moore has been invited on the O'Reilly Factor many times and refuses, what is Moore afraid of? Can't hardly blame Fox.

They tried to give the Democratic candidates an hour.

::: I can't find a link where Maher asked Giuliani and he refused. I have no doubt that he'd go. Show me where he refused, because that would make a difference on whether I vote for him or not.

:::What in the world will Dems do with "hostile" countries? Run with their tail between their legs? Yeah, I know. That's why I'm voting Republican.

:::Celtic-whatever: Reagan is dead and won't be running in this election.

I have seen Maher on O'Reilly many times. And Moore has been invited to appear on Bill's show many times. Get your facts straight.

Correct me if I'm wrong....But dosn't Fox have Alan Colmes on every night? As a PERMANANT Commentator?

Careful on Moore. He just outed Hillary as the 2nd leading recipient of MONEY from the Healthcare Industry Lobbyists in Government............

When people want to actually listen to them.

Let me give you a scenario,

You open up a store, yours is unique and your business is booming, someone has a store next to yours, their business isnt doing so well.Do you think the govt should step in and tell your customers they have to buy from the store next door.Is that fair to you???With the fairness doctrine, this will be the next step.

Chris Mattews can do what ever he wants on his show, so it was more about Mattews than MSNBC. If there is a show on fFox that want to give Moore or Maher a hour that's their choice

Even if they did Moore and Maher would be sitting there and everytime they opened their mouths to reply to the minutes long question.....it would be time to go to commercial.

Haven't you noticed its always, when we come back we will give you a chance to answer, and when they come back, its another question lobbed at them that takes so long to ask...its time for another commercial. Thats why they can't get Democrats to want to come on their shows. The only way for a Democrat to answer makes the Dem look rude and angry. Its a ploy.

So much for "fair and balanced!" Just more Orwellian doublespeak. And the day FOX New gives Michael Moore a full hour will be the day hell freezes over! Or the day the Fairness Doctrine is brought back after Reagan got rid of it in 1987.
