Why has everyone started putting "POLL:" before there questions?

Its for a reason, Yahoo arent letting some post to this section, and some Qs wont post at all.

putting POLL in front seems to fix it.....its affecting a lot of people.

Actually I put the word "survey" LOL.

And I do it because right now my Yahoo! Answers page is messed up and the silly SYSTEM tries to place my question in 'jokes and riddles' but at the same time doesn't allow me to choose the category manually.

This is NO JOKE by the way, it's been like that for hours!

I think its because thy put it in p&s and yahoo puts it in other catagorys all so.

mybe its there way of not getting Bitc*** at for it showing up in the worng catagory.

They put "POLL:" in front of their questions to indicate that their question is a POLL. They probably do it just to inform people and maybe people who are looking for POLLs

I've seen some weird questions in some weird places, so maybe they want you to know for sure, or maybe they do it before every sentence.

most of the question i answered starts with the word poll!!!!

Most of the "POLLS" people are posting are not even polls but just a bog standard question... I wont even look anymore if it starts with POLL!
