North American Union! Why is the majority of public uninformed?Allows the US constitution to be destroyed!!?
President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy.
Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a policy to expand NAFTA politically, setting the stage for a North American Union designed to encompass the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration truly wants is the free, unimpeded movement of people across open borders with Mexico and Canada.

Because it's not that simple. There isn't a North American Union plan in the works, per se. Right now it's in a phase where there will be a super-NAFTA created by the documents that have been signed.
People are docile about it, because it's being sold as a anti-terrorist program -but are unaware of the future consequences.

They are building America,s largest super highway from Texas into the heart of Mexico and goin all the way north to Canada, why do you think the 700 mile border fence is only 300 miles long and that the increase in border security which is stated to add 1800 "more agents "actually reads that 1800 total including the already existing agents is what we're getting and we are almost already at that #.Corporate dukes and lords are behind this monetary driven Idealism and The present congress and executive branch are the means by which this stage is being set. the average American doesn't know or care if voting #'s are any indicator of that fact.people are just along for the ride its a shame that our forefathers died for their right to apathy isn't it.

The Union doesn't really state that borders would be erased. It would be a model similar to the EU... basically a union of trading, as one has posted above a "super-NAFTA".
Now where I live in Canada, most people are opposed, as they are opposed to NAFTA as well. People up here dont' want to be anymore intertwined with America than they already are. However, I believe it's not such a bad idea. Like folks up here saying the Americans are screwing us through NAFTA taking our resources... fact is the standard of living up here has increased. And as it has made us more dependent on American trade... our trade volume has increased quite significantly. The two are already very interconnected and economically dependent off of eachother. Moreso Canada dependent on US trade.. but Canada is America's largest trading partner.. and folks in the Mid-West would find gas prices REAL high if they weren't pumping with our gasoline.. and folks in NY and Cali would find it pretty dark without our hydro electricity. Just like we would find it pretty lame without US produced technologies and investments.
This is already happening. Our 3 nations are already dependent on eachother. This is simply taking it to the next level. And as so many were and are angry at NAFTA... many will be angry at this. I predict it will happen though, but no one would loose any sovereignty in the political arena.. and if they do loose some it will not be significant at all. Canadians don't want to be American and loose our system, as I'm sure Americans don't want to be over run with Mexicans more than they already are.

This is an open secret most of the American people do not know about. Lou Dobbs talks of this several times a week on his 6pm talk show. Since Bush has had his fast track trade authority taken away I do not know if his grand North American Trade Union will be kicked in the butt. I hope it has been.

free trade has nothing to do with borders. Trade makes everyone better off. The less poverty in the world the more labor is available. In the 19th century some tried to restrict trade within their own States. That didn't work either. You can have free trade and still have secure borders.
