Sicko. Answer only if you've seen the film.?
I saw the movie yesterday in a theater filled with rich white liberals. The constant cheering and applause caused me to miss much of the content of the film.
What was your reaction to the film? Will it have any impact on the formulation of US health policy moving forward?
No partisan grandstanding, please.
danielle and dino - The standard ticket price at this theater is $15.
I am making a bit of an assumption as to their wealth, but I've lived on the westside of LA long enough to make highly accurate assumptions on this matter.

USA, we got crooked Doctors and crooked Health Insurance companies
while everybody else got free health care, free dental... government pay for all medical and all.
Not fair.

I saw the movie and I think people should take a good look at what they see and know instead of just excepting his spin on it. Like did they notice the 20 to 40 people waiting in the Dr.s
office that said they just had to wait 20 min? Does this mean they each get about 30 seconds each? The free hospital beds in a not so clean room in Cuba that had 6 to 8 beds in it.
His average earners made 96 thousand a yr? He forgot to say how much it would cost each of us? A lot was left out that he could have shown. No doubt the hollywood rich will give him a big trophy for this one too.

I saw the film and I thought it was quite interesting. The health care problem we have today is not a hit on conservatives but an analysis of problems in our health care system. I'm not sure what the solution is, but I would recommend for all Americans to see this film, even if it just increase the dialog.
I'm sure you will get many who will say they would never see a Moore film, and I would say if you need to open your mind to other points of view and then make an informed decision.

The movie should receive Kudos from every conscientious citizen of civilization. Thank You, Michael Moore for the courage and insight to promote such a wonderful documentary

I think that point of the movie was to show the American people that we need to share the world view that we are all in this together instead of every man for himself. I don`t think most people that have mean dads will understand this view, well that is a stretch maybe but I had to say it.

It was total propaganda. None of his movies have ever made it so easy to argue his 'facts' point by point.

Yes, the US Health Care System is flawed (ok, it's really screwed up) and it is absurd that people in this Nation are not getting the care they need. However, his assertion that UHC is a perfect system is absurd and easily disproven.

I saw it and enjoyed it greatly. After leaving the theater I suggested to my husband that we move to Canada. He suggested France. I suppose we'll have to figure it out eventually!

This is a brilliant movie. You'd have to be partisan or have an agenda to think that the message of this movie isn't important. The healthcare system in the U.S. is shameful and needs an overhaul.

Didn't see it yet, just curious as to how you determined that the people cheering and applauding were "rich"?
PS So you're "rich" cause you forked out $15?
