Ways to re-use or recycle those little dog poop bags? Can you think of any?

I'm an eco-concious person, and like to recycle as much as I can. I do not have a dog or anything, but I've been picking up and saving those little bags around in parks for quite some time. I empty and rinse them but then just cant think of any good ways to reuse them. Can you?

    1. Water small plants and cover them with the small bags when you go out of town. The plastic bag retains the moisture.

    2. Use them as small trash bag liners

    3. Ask if a grocery store will possibly recycle them

    4. cut the bags into larger squares, get some paint (probably acrylic for the plastic bag) and a paint brush/sponge and decorate - use to put in present boxes as unique wrapping paper

    5. Same idea as #4, but cut it to fit on a piece of construction paper - you have a pretty homemade card.

I just came up with these - hope you like!

ewww! there's a million other ways you can "save the earth"! Those bags are biodegradable and will dissolve in the soil over time. just pick them up and throw them in the dumpster. they will dissinegrate at the land fill. Do some other recycling like picking up bottles and other litter. Then u can feel good about "saving the earth" and u don't have to worry about unsanitary bags of POOP!

Hopefully you don't mean you are re-using the ones with poop in them :P

I toss some in my diaper bag for when my son has a really smelly one and i have to leave it in a public restroom. I can tie it up and no smell! If you have no kids, give them to someone who does have a dog or kids. Or stick them back in the dispenser for the next person.

Why did you start in the first place? You must of had some inkling as to why you would want to reuse those poop bags.Just use them for your own dog.Sorry but thats just plain nasty.sshhooowwweeeee.

Best thing to do... throw them in the recycle bin. There isn't too much you can use them for since they are ....poop bags.

Please tell me you're not picking up bags with poop in them and cleaning THOSE out. Please tell me that!!

If you don't have a dog, I don't know why you pick them up at all. I would leave them there for the people who do have dogs. The ones they have where i live are biodegradable, as is the dog poop so it's sort of a non-issue.

I don't know unless you stuff them all together and drop them in the plastic-bag-recycle-bin at Wal-Mart or something...

I think that picking them up and disposing of them is eco-friendly enough. I would not reuse them for anything.

Honey. I like the environment too but I'm sorry I would never even attempt to use something that once had a dogs feces in it. That's kind of gross but that is just me.
