The best way to be remembered at an audition is to go in and do a great job. Be as prepared as you can be. Know the role, know the show, know what you're going to sing and sing it well. Dress appropriately, no costumes but you can dress to 'suggest' the role. Be friendly, courteous, and be someone that they can envision working with for the next couple of months. No one wants to work with some weirdo that came in a pulled a stunt...

well, i have auditioned 4 a show @ 1 time and the director still rememvers me. i just went in, acted like myself and he said that he would remember me because of the way i acted. just give them a good impression & they will remember u 4 life. he's actually called me up a few times &asked me if i wanted 2 audition again sometime. i said maybe l8r & he said ok and then i found out there was an audition and i went b-4 he could even call me. i was one step ahead of him. that's another thing, always stay 1 step ahead and they'll surely remember u. and yes u can e-mail me.

You always hear about Barbara Streisand and the chewing gum thing, but I believe it was Dustin Hoffman that said the best way to make someone remember you in 90 seconds is to take off your clothes.
The point being: make bold and not always the most obvious choices

it depends on what kind of audition. in a musical theater audition, facials are everything. in a regular play or screen acting, facials are also important, as well as emotion in what u're saying

Give a good audition.
I get turned off when I'm casting and people try to use gimmicks.
