Now, who really thought that Bush would actually allow Lewis Libby to go to jail?
Was there really any doubt at all? I mean, how dare we try to send of his buddy to jail. Never mind the fact that he lied during a federal investigation, which is after all a crime punishable by prison sentence. Isn't that just excessive for one of his buddy when a mere slap on the hand is sufficient?

I wish all the psychos that kill people for know reason would start taking out jerks like this. OK, I don't hate him that much but a $250K slap on the hand for somebody that weathly makes me sick. Paris got more for drinking and driving. I'd like to take Bush outside and kick his ***. I think Americans should learn something from the last few years and try and vote for somebody that atleast doesn't seem corrupt. Give me a break! A Pres. from big oil and a VP thats a defence contracter. We need to have our own revolt!!!

So do you feel the same way about Bill Clinton? Both Libby
and Clinton were found to be guilty of perjury and obstruction
of justice. Clinton lied during a federal investigation
regarding the Paula Jones case and all he got was
impeached by the House of Representatives and disbarred
for 5 years from the Arkansas State Bar Association, the
disbarment was in agreement that federal charges not
be pursued.
I see no difference between what Libby did or what Clinton
did except that Clinton does not have a felony on his
record, Libby does and Libby still has to pay a $250,000
fine and serve 2 years probation and will probably be
disbarred himself.
The Republicans could have forced federal charges
against Clinton but they did not, I would say that he
got even less of a slap on the wrist (well OK, impeachment
is a slap).

you right we should all be ashamed at what we did, trying to send Bush's buddies too jail is a crime in it's self

since it was bush and cheney that commited the crime and libby just lied about them doing it, i thought for sure either bush or cheney would just report to prison and do his time for him.
