  • Name of this dance song?

    Part of lyrics is:

    Do you want my love

    Boy, I can't let go

Not much to work with but that is all I remember.

  • FBI cares about fighting terror?

Newly released documents have revealed that the FBI intentionally misused investigative powers with regard to a terrorist suspect in order to slow it's own progress on the case.

Over the span of three days in July of 2005, FBI documents show that the bureau first obtained the educational records of the suspect with a grand jury subpoena. However, at the direction of FBI headquarters, agents returned the records and then requested them again through an improper NSL.

The NSL in this case was improper because under the PATRIOT ACT, NSL authority does not allow the government to seek educational records from universities.

  • An inconvient truth for Al Gore's inconvient truth?

Al Gore was so inspired by professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT Kerry Emanuel's research that he devoted the iconic front cover image of his 2006 movie An Inconvenient Truth to his warning, portraying a hurricane emerging from a Co2-belching smokestack. Unfortunately, Emanuel has completely recanted his position and now admits that hurricanes and storms will actually decline over the next 200 years and have little or no correlation with global temperature change whatsoever.

  • Bush To Veto Ban On Mercury In Vaccines?

During Bush's reelection campaign in 2004 he stated:

"I support the removal of Thimerosal from vaccines on the childhood national vaccine schedule. During a second term as President, I will continue to support increased funding to support a wide variety of research initiatives aimed at seeking definitive causes and/or triggers of autism. It is important to note that while there are many possible theories about causes or triggers of autism, no one material has been definitely included or excluded."

President Bush is to veto a bill that would ban mercury in flu vaccines for children despite its known links to autism and other neurological disorders. The White House stated on Tuesday that President

Bush would veto the FY 2008 HHS-Labor-Education Appropriations Bill because of the cost and "objectionable provisions" such as a measure to ban the use of childhood flu vaccines that contain thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative.

  • If you have nothing to hide, what are you worried about?

For all those who once supported warrantless wiretapping and asked that question if their defense, I ask you the same. Seems Bush is blocking former aide Sara Taylor from testifying.

  • Now, who really thought that Bush would actually allow Lewis Libby to go to jail?

Was there really any doubt at all? I mean, how dare we try to send of his buddy to jail. Never mind the fact that he lied during a federal investigation, which is after all a crime punishable by prison sentence. Isn't that just excessive for one of his buddy when a mere slap on the hand is sufficient?

  • Why hasn't people jumped on Guliani flip-flopping his story about 9/11?

He firmly states he does not know its condition. Therefore, he was told before the collapse about the first two towers coming down.

But prior to that, Giuliani told Jennings, “I — I went down to the scene, and we set up headquarters at 75 Barkley St., which was right there with the police commissioner, the fire commissioner, the head of emergency management, and we were operating out of there when we were told that the World Trade Center was going to collapse. And it did collapse before we could actually get out of the building, so we were trapped in the building for 10, 15 minutes, and finally found an exit and got out, walked north, and took a lot of people with us.”

  • Couldn't Sean Hannity find a better guest than Oliver North to make point valid?

It seems like Sean Hannity of FOX NEWS (March 05/2007) and Oliver North did not like the way the British sailors were released. They argued that British negotiations for the captives had only set the stage for more seizures. Recall that Oliver North had a role in the Iran Contra affair 20 years ago, for which he was indicted on 16 felony counts and convicted of three – later overturned on a technicality. Since then he has not held any position in foreign policy.

Plus they forgot to mention that North had no problem selling Iran TONS of weaponry in 1985-1986 in return for the release of American hostages.

Okay, posted this about 30 minutes ago and no one seems to be paying attention to part of the question. So re-posting and trying to narrow down some more.
