What is your perception of Ethiopia and Ethiopians?

i think there a very good looking ppl that like almost every country in africa has had its problems with war and famine.

That they live simple lives in meager circumstances. They used to not have much food because it was the famine hotspot, and the target of a ton of relief projects in the 80's. My perception and it may be wrong is that they are humble, simple people who are somewhat separated from the fanatic behaviors found in the rest of the world.

Now i'm curious about how wrong I am.
