    You missed integrity:

Integrity includes but goes beyond honesty. Honesty is telling the truth -- in other words, conforming our words to reality. Integrity is conforming reality to our words -- in other words, keeping promises and fulfilling expectations. This requires an integrated character, a oneness, primarily with self but also with life. (Stephen R. Covey)

    I vote for integrity.

Loyalty would follow honesty. Honesty would be the trait that dictates your judgement on whom you should be loyal to, and whom will stab you in the back for your honesty. Blind loyalty, on the other hand, would be an emotional subserviance to someone who's intentions are flawed. If your loyalty means you are not allowed to question whom you honour, then it is based upon a lie, and is therefore dishonest. Hence, honesty wins over loyalty.

Even though I think the two come in a package together, I would have to say that loyalty is more important.

Honesty. Because if there not loyal then they can be honest about what they did and explain to you what happened. Although both go hand in hand along with trust and other things.

Wow, good question, got me thinking as both are equally important to me...

I would have to go with honesty in that one...

These are both the foundation of the makings of a good person, the tool so to speak, there's more to be added with time.

honesty...because to me if someone is "dishonest" then there are much less of a possible "loyalty" that follows...people who are dishonest, they tend to be negative-minded also, I don't like to be around negative thinking type...
