Are there some artists similar to Paul Simon?
I really enjoyed Paul Simon's "The Rhythm of the Saints," and "Graceland." I'm looking for similar artists with the soulful African rhythms, but don't know where to start. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure anyone else has done anything similar to Paul Simon's work on "Graceland." I would check "ladysmith black mambazo" to see if they've collaborated with any other artists. Sting has done some similar work, but not as substantial as "Graceland". David Byrne also has a similar feel to a lot of his work. Good luck, I love that album too.

Nothing can compare with Graceland which won a grammy. I agree with the first answer about Ladysmith Black Mambazo. They are the ones singing in the background of the Graceland album.
