Hats off to Serena for a valiant fight?

Many of you talking about Serna and Venus attitude but how soon you forget what they had to go through in their early days in tennis.  The are a product of the American society. Don't forget that it was Hingis who once called them the "n" word or something like that.  Don't forget many parents didn't want their white daughters playing in their words the "n" word.  So hate them all you want they are a product of your making and they don't need your love anymore.  It hurt's doesn't it.  Hats off to you girls.

I agree with you!! The Williams sisters have had to face a lot of adversity. Yes sometimes they may be dramatic but what tennis player isn't.

Can we talk about the comments made about them by Martina N.

Or Sharapova's time wasting techniques on the court or her fathers own antics and the fact that he has such a bad reputation with other Russian players.

Or Jennifer Capriati's father doing the same thing on court that Venus' dad is always being called out for.

Tennis like any other activity involving people is full of drama, it is unfair for people to just pick out one set of sisters and complain about everything they do.

The Williams sisters may not be in top form, but they are fabulous players. They are shining examples of the "American Dream' and they are no more dramatic or ungracious than other female tennis players.

This is a global stage they are playing on, not kentucky in the 1950's. 

The eastern european players went through far great crap including genocide in much more recent times. 

The Israeli and Middle eastern players live with bloodshed and terrorism everyday. 

Grow up, everyone has a reason to *****. 

Serena just doesn't have any class or brains to speak of. 
Look how she cried and moaned after the french. 

If she wasn't black the press would have had a field day with her, all over the world.
