Sorry, it's logically impossible to 'prove' something doesn't exist. But that certainly doesn't mean it does. Remind your friend that you don't have to prove him wrong - he's the one making the claim, and he is the one who must provide evidence for it.
If you claimed you could cure cancer, do you turn to the FDA and say 'prove me wrong'? Of course not. You have to provide evidence that you are right.
If it helps, there's a list of contradictions from the bible on this website. http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/

You don't have to prove that your god exists because you have faith huh? Did you ever stop to think how illogical that is? What if I told you I believed in magic puppies that hide in trees and dared you to prove they don't exist and then turned around and told you I don't have to have any proof because golly gee I have faith. You'd think I was an escaping from the mental wing of a hospital. There's many arguments against the existence of gods. One of the best ones is Occam's razor. Ever heard of it? No, I doubt you have. Occam's razor was formulated by William of Occam (1285-1349) and says: "Non est ponenda pluralites sive necessitate" or in english: "Do not multiply entities unless necessarily". It is a principle for scientific labour which means that one should use a simple explanation with a few explanatory premises before a more complex one. Let's say that everything must be created, and that was done by an omnipotent god. A god which stands above time, space, moral and existence, which is self containing and in it self has it's own cause. This entity can surely be replaced by the known world. The world stands above time, space, moral, existence, is self containing and in it has it's own meaning. Most theists agree that god has a nature. Then we must raise the question, who created god's nature? If we just accept that god has a nature and exists without a cause, why not say that the known world just is and that the laws of physics are what they are, without a cause? God is not really an explanation, only a non-explanation. It is impossible to gain information from non-information so God as an explanation is a dead end. When we have said that the reason for something is that 'god did it that way' there is no way to understand it any further. We just shrug our shoulders and accept things as they are. To explain the unknown by god is only to explain how it happened, not why. If we are to investigate the world and build our views of life from the world, we cannot assume a god. Because adding god as an explanation leaves as many, if not more questions than it explains, god has to be removed with Occam's razor if we are serious in investigating the world.

1. God makes sense of the Universe's origin. Something coming from nothing does not make sense and there is no other explanation at this time.
2. God makes sense of the Universe's complexity.
3. God makes sense of objective moral values. If there is no God, then morals are just a matter of taste, such as saying you don't like a particular food. Without God there is no absolute right and wrong.
4. There is more documentation that Jesus died and was resurrected than proof that he wasn't. That miracle is proof that God exists.
5. God can immediately be experienced.

Just use simple logic...
"Prove God exists"
Impossible. Proof requires evidence. Belief without evidence is called faith. Gods are faith based concepts.
"Prove that he doesn't"
You cannot disprove something until it's been established that the thing exists. In other words, you cannot prove a negative. You can, however, offer alternative explanations for things ascribed to gods, which results in smaller and smaller "gaps" which the god explanation satisfies.

In all honesty, NO ONE will ever be able to 'prove' to you that G-d exists. I can defend MY REASONS for having faith in Him, however; HE does not need to be defended.
Unbelievers reasoning is this -- Until G-d can pass some kind of test; He does not exist.
Believers, are told "Do not test the L-rd your G-d."
Common sense says, everything in, on, and around us has a beginning. We start learning about that 'beginning', by answering the following questions : "Who?, How?, What?, When?, Where?, and Why?"

Simpson of approximately one thousand million, could be held in a teaspoon and there would still be room left for all the information in every book ever written.”

The 'gorilla' needs to re-read the entire BOOK of Zechariah, for this is the proper way to understand what is being said.
By the way, the original authors never expected their writings to be put into one collective 'book' called the Bible. Which comes from the Anglo-Latin word "Biblia" and means "the holy books".

Disproving all types of gods can't be done however the christian god is touted to be
Omnipresent
Omnipotent
Omnibenevolent
It is impossible for all 3 to be true:
God Cannot know all, be capable of all, and love all. Human suffering exists so he either doesn't know about it, can't do anything, or doesn't care. Any 2 exclude the other one

You can't prove or disprove God exist, not until you die. When you die, and you find yourself in front of Golden gates, you're gonna feel reeeeeeeeeally stupid. If you die, and there's well nothing, well than's there's nothing.
The bible does say, that All man, will have an oppurtunity to accept christ. Just hope you don't miss it., OHHH, this may be that chance...

What is more rational, the universe came from nothing or that God created it. The rebuttal would be, where did God come from, and the answer is, God is absolute so he can not have a creator.

Here's plenty of proof that God exists:
1 THEN I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll

As a Christian Preacher I have to admit that I can not prove the fact there is a God.
But then you can not prove there isn't.
That's why it's called Faith.
