What kind of foot fungus is this?

Instead of scaling and peeling on your feet and toes, it comes from under the skin in red blisters? not the usual kind of Athletes Feet? sometimes they get big and have pus and water in them??the fungus then stays in that spot and scales away?

I actually had athlete's foot at the same time I had those blister things. Mine were usually on the edges of the soles of my feet and itched really badly. I tried different over-the-counter jock itch/ athelete's foot treatments, which didn't work. The medication that finally cleared everything up was a (very expensive if you don't have insurance) pill that was prescribed by a podiatrist, and is usually used for treating toe nail fungus. However, if you're prone to fungal infections, or other people you live with have them, and walk around bare-footed, it's entirely possible that you will be re-infected after treatment.

I had something like this on my hands when I was about 21 years old. I can say that it was never diagnosed as any particular thing. Itched like crazy. No one would shake my hand. The docs gave me steroids for a short time, but decided that was bad. Eventually I outgrew it. I did, however find out later that it was probably some kind of contact allergy from something I bathed my dogs in or dipped them in. Watch where you step. Keep your feet clean and dry, and air them out every chance you get.

Sounds like Tinia. You can treat it at the drugstore.
