Does Veggie Wash work better than water? How does it work?

    according to the commercials i've seen, the wash works better than water because water contains chemicals & residue that is left on the veggies & fruits you wash with it. not sure what the veggie wash contains, but it cleans w/o leaving yuck behind.

    Veggie wash does work better than water because it has a light acid content that takes off the pesticide residues and waxy residues they spray fruits especially with to make them look shiny and more appealing in the grocery stores.

    I know someone who rinses all their veggies in a salad spinner, in a combo of water and apple cider vinegar. The vinegar adds a little bit of flavor to your cooking as well.

    OH MY GOD i use veggie wash on everything and yes it works better than water...... plus it makesstuff taste better.

    Not if its hot water. Hot water will increase its ability to remove chemicals of any kind. Best if its been filtered too.
