Christians who follow the Trinity line of thinking:?

How is the "Holy Spirit" different from "God the Father"?

I understand that you think that Jesus Christ is God's begotten son, but where does the Holy Spirit come in to play?

    Salaam alaykum brother Salahudin,

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, as Christians we belive the Holy Spirit is what leads us, what convicts us and what guides us in all truth. Al-Masih Isa told us that he "would send another comforter" and would never leave us.

Isa is called the Spirit of God (Ruhallah) in verse 171 of al- Nisa. In fact, according to the Quran, the spirit of god is breathed into every man" "Then He made him compleate and breathed into him of His spirit and gave you ears and eyes and hearts" (32:9)

Finally, in the Bible, God tells us that he "has written his laws upon our hearts so that no man is without excuse" (Romans 1). And it is the spirit that convicts us of sin when we break those laws.

    hope that helps

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one.

I read just the other day in my Bible that the Holy Spirit puts inside us a love for God that is beyond our abilities. That may or may not answer your question I hope it does or at least you can now know of one thing the Holy Spirit does in our lives as Christians.

this question does not make sense. trinity believers think that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one being. personally i think that God is the father of Jesus and the Holy Spirit is the feeling we recieve when we feel enlightned by God. Three separate beings with the same purpose.

    1. God CANNOT die. Jesus died. Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.

    2. God knows EVERYTHING. Jesus admits he doesn't know everything, only the Father (Matthew 24:36) Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.

    3. God is not subject to anyone. The bible says that Jesus is subject to the Father (1 Corinthians 7:3). Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.

    4. God was NOT created. Jesus was created (Colossians 1:15, Proverbs 8:22-31). Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.

These four things are undeniable, straightforward, and sound evidence that Jesus is NOT God. To try to create a "workaround" is to deny the truth.

The third member of the Holy Trinity. He is what enters the human heart and points us to Christ. Christ honors the Father and points to the Father. The Holy Spirit is what convicts us and directs our hearts and minds to Christ. It is also what endwells the believers upon conversion, bringing life to the dead.

Presuming by your name that you are not of the Christian faith (or are recently converted) let me put it to you this way:

The Holy Spirit is a gift of God that refers to what you might think of as your "conscience," the feeling that helps you know what is good and helps you do what is good. It is an aspect of God's love and power we use right here and now -not at the day of judgement or some other time. It is our connection to God's love and power everyday.

    That will get you started.

  • The holy spirit is greater than the son, but lower than the father as far as i concluded, after decades of research i did on the subject.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is everywhere. God the Father or Son could not be right there beside you because you could see Them.

the Holy Spirit is the same as God and Jesus..the Holy Spirit isn't different..they're all the same in spirit..the Holy Spirit is a liitle more earthly in my opinion..its everywhere..

The Original Bible ( Barnabas ) does not mention anything about trinity. There is only 1 Master of all .God is far far away from made-up human stories & similarities.
