What do you think of the phrase "If Nothing Changes, Nothing Changes"?

This is one of my favorite phrases, yet a lot of people don't seem to understand it.

I've never heard that exact phrase, but it seems to reflect one of my favorite concepts.

The way I see it, if you want something to be different (better), then you have to actually DO something to make it happen. If you don't change anything, then nothing will change.

This quotation validates that the only permanent thing in this world is CHANGE. It is impossible for someone or something not to change over time.

If nothing changes, then Nothing CHANGES (into Something)

To me, it means that if you want change, you can't just sit around and wait for it, YOU must change your ways, or get others to change their ways, in order for that change.

This reminds me of a quote from the book Ragtime by E.L. Doctorow:

"They waited for life to change. They waited for their transformation." The author later explains that this change wouldn't have happened if it weren't for a few leaders provoking it.
