It is prob a Nigerian Bidder (no offence to Nigerian people but there is a spat of them on eBay trying to defraud sellers)! They are con people and EBay needs to do something about it!

I buy and sell on Ebay and I can tell you that most people these days put items on their watch list and wait till the very last minute to bid. Who wants to bid and then have to bid again raising their own price. Don't worry...you will see a lot of action at the end of the auction! XXXXX

some people are nuts or have money to burn!!!
at Christmas there was M&S and Sainsburys vouchers they both exceed the face value and then had to pay £3.40 P+P???
think some people just get carried away with the thrill of bidding....

well i nearly had to pay £1399 just a couple of weeks ago for a pair of headphones for my ipod because i forgot to put in the dot(£13.99) lol. i was not impressed but luckily someone was stupid enough to outbid me lmao,i wonder if they actually paid that price? i would hope not.
it could just be a false bidder to help bump up the price for the seller.

Money laundering
Dirty money goes in, through paypal or wherever, transferred to seller's account nice and clean. And ebay even takes a cut lol
Of course that is just my theory and I therefore is not usable in any court of law. Nor do I care who launders what and where in this world before Boris comes round to my house.
