What do you know of Kundalini?
" Kundalini is referred to as a Goddess in the East, as the Divine Feminine is the archetypal form of the power of creativity and embodiment. Her effects, while transformative and supremely uplifting, may feel challenging at times and dis-integrative, especially as She does the work of setting the mind and body free from the many layers of conditioning that bind them. This allows for a higher order of integration and wholeness of Self to emerge.
Kundalini Shakti, the power of the Infinite to reveal itself....."
Have you entered this theshold? Tasted it? What do you think of this quote?

Michelle V, you do pick 'em, don't you ? ;-)
All the time I am trying to get down to the classic one liner, and along comes one of these questions to which there is no easy short answer.
To the Therapeutae the caduceus was a symbol of their widely revered healing powers. This symbol has survived down the millenia and is still used by the medical profession today, the winged staff encircled by two snakes. Who really knows what the symbolism is ? There are many attempts at explanation, but few satisfy the ardent researcher, it is, like the 12 constellations that form the 'zodiac', simply ancient beyond any still known and extant records.
Could it be that the staff represents the staff of life, in the case of man, the spinal column, the celebrated but unsung backbone that puts us upright, in contrast to all the other animal citizens of our world ? The apparent 'bundle' as presented in most representations seems to mimic the bundle of nerves. I suspect that this so, and that the medulla oblongata, the upper part is particularly indicated.
Now the snakes .... hmmm, what are we to make of snakes ? According to Biblical 'wisdom' they are to be avoided at all costs, particularly so if they happen to hawking Granny Smiths around the place ! However, look again, and find that in most cultures snakes are equated with wisdom. In the case of the caduceus, especially so. However, I think there is a deeper meaning, another layer if our onion man will allow.
And this brings me to the Kundalini. My own experience with this phenomenom was almost lethal in it's intensity, an explosion of energy, in my case down the medulla, most seem to say up. For a micro-moment my entire perception of the Omniverse ( the Physical Universe looks like Disneyworld in comparison ) was altered in the twinkling of an eye, as they say. I wasn't seeing or even feeling anymore, I was the whole thing ( no cynics, no mushrooms involved here ), from the greatest to the quantum tiniest, all in the same moment.
I do not say that all experiences of a Kundalini type will be the same for all, but I doubt that anyone could have such an experience without being quite sure that that was what they had had.
For the 'Goddess' part, it's one way of putting it, I certainly think that it is very helpful for a male to have a female in attendance, although a fully initiated master ( can't really say mistress these days, but you know what I mean ) isn't strictly necesary for all of us. I love the quote, but like all things, it shoulod be taken as a guide, not 'Law'.
Where my experience fits in my 'Intent' is simple, since this experience there is no 'turning back', having been there it is not something that any of us can erase from the program, it's simply too powerful, and, of course, empowering.
The Infinite indeed. :-)))
Thanks Michelle, it's been a pleasure, I hope that anyone reading this manages to avoid getting their faces stuck in then gazpacho ......... zzzzzzzzzzz
Oh, and katiefish, did you know that there is a sect in southern Yemen called the Mandeans, who claim to be the direct descendant adherents of John the Baptist, and that they also call themselves 'Nasoreans', which also means in aramaic 'little fish', and the fish symbol that you use is still used by them, as well as by the early Jerusalem Church, before it was hijacked by Paul and Constantine.
This is widely thought by scholars who have taken the trouble to study the subject to be the origin of the 'of Nazareth' bit about Yashua, of course, you would know that Nazareth, the town didn't exist until several hundred years after the time of Yashua.
Just thought you'd appreciate the 'heads up'. :-)))
Edit 2
I almost forgot, the snakes also have another symbolism, but most of you probably won't believe it, besides representing the Kundalini linked to the medulla oblongata, and wisdom, they are also a shadow of the twin helix of DNA, yes, I know that's 'impossible', it was only 'discovered' 50 years ago, but trust me, we have done all of this before, over and over. At the 'time' that the ancient truths were passed to the Rishis, we had already forgotten about the DNA that our ancestors utilised to synthesise us into Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Like the ancient Greeks also knew about both atomic particles, and even sub-atomic, as the Preacher said, there is no new thing under the sun !

Kundalini awakening 3 years ago. Excruciating pain to the point of passing out. Nothing could stop it. Many subsequent experiences as it worked it's way to my crown. I had to learn to let it flow without obstruction, and it's not too bad now; like a river of fire flowing all the time, but freely now. No superhuman powers or anything, I just see clearly, everything.
It was not intentional and I always recommend against it. Some have little trouble with it, to others it can be fatal. I've worked with energy for decades and I don't think I would be here if I didn't already know how to get out of the way. It cannot be controlled.

I've had a full blown Kundalini experience. Felt it unwind & spiral up my spine & blow out the top of my head... it was truly amazing & I felt that I saw God in that moment.
It was that "Peace that passes all understanding" moment they use to talk about in church, but I really don't think any of those ministers had any idea what those words meant.... as it does pass understanding until you feel it. words dont describe it.
Having said that I have had the experience, I am in no way enlightened nor do I feel that I am any better or more spiritually advanced than anyone else... but I did get a glimpse of the "infinite" -God- whatever you want to call it.
and it is amazing.

I feel that a person who has learned to embody this power with grace and maturity has all the power of the Universe at their fingertips.
Well, that is my intent...
And I love that quote.
edited to reflect everyone.

Wow! Ooooo! That was intense. Let me ask you - - did YOU buy into it? If you did, try to refocus your life toward something a little more productive. I'm speaking about God, Christ - our beloved, our savior, the one whom would never decieve, abuse or lie to you. He only offers love and kindness and allows you your own mind. Emerging as a being far superior to those whom seek refuge here, yet are humble and eager to serve. That is the God you need to be looking into.
Thanks for sharing, tho. And good luck with that.........katiefish <><
