With the Oklahoma being sanctioned can we expect anything to come of the Reggie Bush and USC scandal?

Update:

And if USC is ever forced to forfeit those games Bush played in, does Oklahoma get to claim that national title?

Will Oklahoma get to claim to the National Title? Yes, they can claim it but so can any other NCAA member institution. The NCAA does not recognize the title therefore any sanctions or penalties imposed will not address it. The BCS may have some rules that address what to do in this situation but I don't know. Always remember that there is no such thing as a NCAA Champion in BCS Division (formerly known as Division I) football and that the BCS Championship is not an NCAA sanctioned championship. The Big 12 may choose to force Oklahoma to return some or all of the TV revenue and bowl revenue they received for the year. I am not familiar with how things work in the Big but I suspect that nothing like that will happen.

I doubt that anything will come from the USC / Reggie Bush issue. USC has successfully buried the story and the mainstream media is not pushing the issue. I suspect that this may be due the fact that rivalries in the PAC do not seem to reach the level of bloodlust that they have in other conferences. Or it could be that there isn't really anything there. Or maybe everybody is distracted by steroids. The NCAA will probably stay out of it unless the PAC 10 takes some action.

For what it's worth: the NCAA can not take Reggie's Heisman trophy away. That is not an NCAA award. The Downtown Athletic Club would have to decide what to do in the event that Reggie was declared ineligible.

I hate USC and the pac-10 just as much as the next guy but U guys are saying USC did something wronge... They dident it was a sports agent who bout the house, noothing to do with the school. He wanted to have reggie bush sign with him so he helped his parents out with a free house... U cant punish USC for that but u can punish reggie bush for that by taking away his heisman

They absolutely MUST forfeit every game Bush played in. Also, no bowls, scholorships, or TV games for two years. Oklahoma did nothing wrong - USC did very wrong!

NO because the NCAA officials are a big fat joke. And they are not consistent with the way they handle all teams.
