Are company outsourcers traitors?
In the name of profit, a company would take jobs away from the people, then oursource them to China or some other 3rd country.
This frequently results in shoddy services and products, which break down or poison you and your pets.
In turn, the outsourced country becomes wealthy and powerful and may potentially pose a threat to regional stability in the coming years, all thanks to that company.
Would you consider this to be a patriotic act?
to Mary :
You mean really cheap and really shoddy.
to whcwarrior :
whatever. Clinton, Bush even yourself.

I agree. And you forgot the environmental impact. China, thanks to the practically non-existant environmental regulations, is the no.1 polluter on earth. Because companies don't have to worry about regulating their pollution output (thereby saving money), the lakes in China are practically loaded with more toxins and whatever crap than a sewer.

Sending jobs overseas is NOT patriotic and it does NOT create better jobs here. That is all a load of BS. Give me one good example of crappy jobs that have been sent overseas that have resulted in better jobs and better pay here. I dare ya! You can't. They don't exist. Companies that don't pay their fair share of taxes are also the complete opposite of patriotic. Walmart is famous for dodging taxes. They buy a piece of property, sell it to their real estate company and then the real estate company (Walmart real estate trust )rents it back to Walmart Stores Inc. It's disgusting and all of these loopholes need to be closed. NOW!
Walmart being able to provide cheaper goods to the American people is NOT a fair trade off for cheaper labor. What happened to all of the jobs here IN America? If you knew that more jobs stayed here, but you'd pay a few more cents, wouldn't you rather do that knowing America's economy would be good and American's would be working?!!?
And Davroes full of crap too. If the government didn't raise minimum wage, corporations sure as H#ll aren't going to. Why would they? Is it really "competition" when there are TEN automakers? SEVEN cell phone providers? Maybe TEN Oil Companies? FIVE major news networks who are owned by HUGE Corporations? How can they produce unbiased news segments? They CAN'T. WHERE'S the "competition"?

I think the corporations are just playing by the rules from 20 years of insane conservative economics from Reagan killing the tariffs that protected our economy to Clinton signing N.A.F.T.A. which did not pay its part of the agreement. Corporations are not people and have no feelings and have different morals then humans and this will not change until we abolish corporate person-hood and get them out of the election process if we want to see a third party. It is time to turn these billionaires into millionaires again and throw some tea off the boats again.

You forgot the part which allows Wal-Mart to sell really cheap goods to Americans as a direct result of the cheaper labor in the 3rd world countries.

There is nothing patriotic about capitalism. Especially not globalism. But Americans are stupid little bitches and aren't going to do anything about it like elect a Congress will stand up to the corporate interest.

the large 3 has been outsourcing to Canada for some years, yet that may not unreasonable on condition that Canada makes up a substantial phase of its industry. regardless of the indisputable fact that it truly is interesting to observe that every time heavy industry has been repatriated from Canada to the U.S., it truly is to "top to artwork" States.

if we outsource and then China invests in the US, both sides are liable to each other. The poison incident is very minor in the grand scheme of things. Try to live without any Chinese products or without companies that outsource. You can't afford it. It's globalization of economies. Ultimately, this will even the "fairness" between countries and lead to world peace (via economic interest) and cooperation.

Not traitors. However, their actions are clearly un-American. The traitors are the politicians who have, through their "free trade" nonsense, allowed these companies to export our strategic manufacturing base, our technology and other vital assets to other countries, including a sworn enemy.

When the government raises minimum wage and also raises the taxes that companies pay they have no choice but to outsource to remain competitive.

you mean like hillary outsourcing jobs to India?

It is the government that should stop it. If it is legal, they can't be blamed.
