I had a dermofibroma removed from my arm in October. Why has it grown back even bigger?

Looks like a round, pink, shiny wart and it hard. Now about 1cm across. Had it removed in case it was skin cancer but was told it was a dermofibroma and it shouldn't re-occur. It grew back very quickly.

Update:

It was removed by local anesthetic and a scapel

I would check back with the doctor.

Perhaps it was not fully removed. For example, with liquid nitrogen freezing. This will remove the top surface of the growth and flatten it out. Over time, the growth will become more noticeable once again and additional treatments will be necessary for the dermatofibroma.
