Snapper rear engine mower?

My transmission is very weak. The mower barely can pull up the smallest of hills. Can it be adjusted somehow? I can only get it to move in 4th and 5th gear, and even then, I have to push with my foot sometimes to get it to start moving!

Is there anything I can do besides buy a new mower?

Drive belt maybe snapper uses a rubber wheel connected to a shaft that moves along on a metal disc under the motor wheel is separate piece if you loOK you will see that when you shift while moving you have been wearing it down quicker. its ok we all do it but some of us have the manual. snapper has a web page but can't think of it at this time it can be replaced Farly easy not a major chore. luck
