I own a sony ericsson W830i phone and recently its "games" and "applications" folder have stopped opening........ neither i'm able to install any new games, it says "operation failed"...... Whats happening??????? Pleassseeeeeeeee help!!

i think you should turn it in to you phone insurance and tell them the problems and see if they can send you a new phone.

The Sony ericsson W830i has these problems cos it basically the same happened to one of my buddy couple of weeks back.Sugguest u go to their service centre and get the problems fixed asap!(dont be too happy first cos the problems will comes appear again!)They will not change a new set for u as the problem lies with the network itselfand the phone can only cease them temporary.

Reformat your phone, that'll do the trick. If you're using the memory card of the phone, see if it's not corrupted. The last time I got an operation failed error on my phone, it had a trojan virus, so I had to reformat it.//
