Fellow atheists, I have an idea and want your opinion?

I think that anytime we see a Christian write a question that is very hateful or inflammatory against any non Christian group, we should just respond with "What would Jesus do?"

Why must Jesus be the escape goat for the methods others use to release their pent up emotions call it Christian or whatever. Try not responding at all to such behavior. Why throw gas on an already out of control fire? Why even allow such a thing effect you enough to consider having or being obligated to respond to bigotry and hatred.

Well... I usually prefer the longer version: "That's my sweet little Christian, all grown up and hating their brothers and sisters". I think the idea is good though

And Agnostic Front, I don't think they wouldn't get any response - they've got other Christians who are just as hateful as they are to be responding to their questions.

And they will give you an answer but it will leave you at your starting place. Again you will ask "What would Jesus do?".

Again they will answer you and you will be back at your starting place. So on and on and on...............................

I am sort of lost these days. I think of atheists being Jewish. You address your question to fellow atheists I hope my answering is acceptable. If not - sorry - I'm new at this also........

Well they just make themselves look idiotic anyway. I just laugh at all the hypocrisy and them making a mockery out of their Jesus guy. So much for christian love eh lol

I almost agree, but there's this problem with Jesus being a known trouble maker infamous for tirades in which he overturns tables, curses trees that aren't in season, and calls people that aren't like him derogatory names like "dogs" and "swine".

I think a better response would be: Is this really how you want to represent your god?

Why give them the benefit of a response. If no one replied to their responses at all they'd probably cry in real life and head to the nearest roof ledge. Just don't respond. :)

That'd be boring. Let's post inflammatory and cynical comments instead.

oh, i dunno...sounds like a *sheeple* sort of response...

if it isn't a question that should be dignified with an answer, then pass it over. if you can't bear to pass it over, then at least give the rest of us a laugh...make a joke, a pun...be creative.
