How long does it take for keg beer to go bad?
I'm Going to the Jimmy buffet concert on July 21 and 28th A full keg is only $65 and a pony is $50. So I'd like to keep the keg for a week but it may get warm at my house. I keep my A/C down around 67 F. Will It last for the week. We are useing a hand pump.

It all depends on how cold it is kept. At best kept under 45 F it will last about 3 weeks, and if you let it get warm then cool off and back and forth then that will also contribute. If you are going to just let it sit at 67 you will have a week tops. Keg beer is unpasteurized so has no where near the shelf life as canned or bottled beer.

Most domestic draft beer is not pasteurized, so it must be kept cold. The temperature of the beer must be maintained between 36-38°F all the way to the point of dispense. Temperatures above 38°F will cause foam and promote sour/cloudy beer. When temperature rises above 50-55°F, bacteria growth rapidly begins to spoil flavor and cloud the beer. Simply put, keg beer storage can be compared to milk storage: "if it is not kept cold, it will spoil."
If dispensing with CO2, and maintained at the proper temperature( 36-38°F)and pressure( between 12-14 Lbs) :
Non-pasteurized draft beer (most domestic keg beers) will remain fresh for about 45-60 days.
Pasteurized draft beer(most Import keg beers) will remain fresh for about 90-120 days.
If dispensing with a party pump (air):
Any draft beer will remain fresh for no more than 8-12 hours.

Gee, Ive never had one last that long! UUUrp. Gurgle! Huh?
What was da' question?... Oh yeah.
It will be just fine, just untap it when not in use and wash the tap area with very hot water infused with a touch of bleach.
AND I DO MEAN...a touch of bleach... 4 or 5drops to quart of water. This will kill any bacteria (or chance of it) from developing during the week. But most of all...have fun!!! I already know you're a responsible individual, so I won't even go there. Uncle Bingo

Buy a lot of ice and put it in the bath tub if you have an extra! Otherwise, Yes it will go bad! 67 F is pretty warm for beer!

I had a party and the keg came early so i put it in a trash can filled with ice and i wrapped blankets around it. It turned out fine.

it would only stay good if you keep it fridgerated or on ice.. 67 degree beer is gross... keep it below 40 degrees
