My Yahoo page looks like its fading away...Is monitor bad or pc?

How old is the monitor?

First, check the color, contrast, etc. settings (menu button on monitor) and make sure they are all set as the default. If not, look for a restore defaults option.

Next check all the connections (with both unplugged) and make sure it is plugged in securely and in the right port.

If all of that changes nothing, then maybe some LEDs are burning out in your monitor, or it's just faulty. Does everything else look normal?

If your monitor came with software, reinstall the software, or if it has a Sync Button (most monitors do), then just press the button, you might want to consider buying a new monitor, such as Acer 1916W (widescreen, real nice) at like $160.

Unfortunately, it is the partisan hacks at the Right (I'd be embarrassed to name them fellow Conservatives). The Republican celebration is condoning todays Right wing hate media, and most of the members posting on those web sites are pupils of those hateful media personalities. I've visible a few nasty stuff from the Left as good, however overwhelmingly it is the infantile Obama haters spewing hatred in the direction of their fellow Americans.

are all windows faded? just Internet pages? this would make a difference in diagnosing your problem ,if only your on line pages are faded then it is most likely a connection problem .also might try uninstalling and reinstalling your video card through device manager
