SeaWorld Shuttlesfrom Disney Resorts?

Hi. I',m leaving for Disney World at the end of the month and I'm staying at the All Stars Movies Resort. We did NOT rent a car and we really would like to go to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Are there any shuttles that will take us there close by Disney's property? I heard somewhere that you can get a shuttle for $10.00 per person round trip. PLEASE help...this is our first Disney trip with our daughters ages 3 and 15. Also, any tips and suggestions on cheap eats and attractions for BOTH girls to enjoy is appreciated. THANKS for all of your answers in advance.

I don't know if they still do it or not, but Mears use to offer the $10 shuttle to Seaworld from Disney resorts.

All of the Disney parks will have rides and attractions that will appeal to your daughters. In fact there are so many that if I were to go through them all and list them here I would take up TONS of space. My suggestion would be to go the Disney website and register (it's free), then make a list of favorites. Let your older daughter read the descriptions of the attractions and she can make a list of the ones she wants to see. Also, check out the disboards. The Disboards is a message board website with more info than you can possibly take in, and it's all about going to Disney. You can ask questions, get trip reports, dining reviews, resort reviews, tips and tricks for everything from dining to avoiding crowds, to favorite itineraries people use. Another good source is to go to the bookstore and pick up the Birnbaum's guide to WDW. There are a ton of books out there, but that one has worked the best for us.

As for going to Sea World, I was at Disney with the family in April and we stayed at Saratoga Springs. We called down to Bell Services the day we wanted to go to Sea World and had a cab pick us up at the main entrance. The trip to Sea World cost us about $22 for 6 people. When we were done, we walked over to the cab stand and had a cab bring us back. It was very easy, and the cab ride for 4 adults and 2 kids (12 and 7) to me was reasonable. That is how I would suggest you go, that way you are able to leave when you want. As for Busch Gardens, that is a bit far away for a cab, so you may want to see if there is a shuttle, or you may have to rent a car for the day. You may be better off saving that for a future trip, especially since this is your first to Disney. There is so much to see and do that you may want to spend more time in the Disney parks than anywhere else. (Even Sea World is a 1/2 to 3/4 day trip at most.)

Have a great trip! I put links to the other websites below.

I would check with mears, they are the biggest provider i the area, if anyone is offering shuttle service from WDW to Seaworld it would be them. You might be better off renting a car though, when you check in speak to the desk or concierge about a rental car and they can help you arrange it with the company on property, I believe its hertz. Use your AAA card for a discount if you have it. For cheaper eats go with the Disney dining plan, I would get it for the adults only and feed the 3 year old off everyone elses plate or but kid meals. If this is your first trip to WDW you will find that unless your going for more than two weeks, Disney will keep you plenty busy, there is a lot to do at WDW. Ill be on my 4th trip this year in the last 5 years and I still havent done it all or made it to the other parks in the area.

As far as I'm aware, there is no shuttle Service from Walt Disney World Hotels to Busch Gardens or Sea World. Mears is one of the major transportation companies in Orlando, however they have an exclusive contract with Disney to operate shuttles between Disney Parks and the Disney Hotels. Outside that you have to take a taxi.

There are several Taxi companies in Orlando. We actually provide transportation services here in the area and throughout Florida, including to Busch Gardens and Kennedy Space Center. If you would like to, we can arrange your transportation needs while your stay here in Florida. We also provide Hotel Accommodations throughout Florida and Tickets to the Theme Parks. You can write us at info@interstatetours or visit us at http://www.interstatetours.com/

Good Luck and hope you have a great time here in Florida!

Yep, there is a shuttle. It's called a taxi.

The best advice on cheap eats, is to bring snacks into the park so you don't have to drop lots of money every time someone says they are hungry. Eating Crackers or Cheerios in line can keep everyone in a good mood, until you can get everyone somewhere for a meal.

    Have fun!
