What to do in DALLAS texas???

My parents are going out to Dallas this weekend, and they've never been there. So what do they do.... ask me to look up on the internet and see what they could possible do out there. I dont have time to look up stuff for hours, so instead I'm just going to ask you guys. Good plan huh??? So they are looking for a nice jazz lounge. yep, I know.... it's dallas ummmmm jazz??? Well something fun at least, they are fairly conservitive and dont drink much, so no bars or clubs. Oh and what is the best resturant in dallas???

If they are into jazz, there's always Sambuca...two locations, one in Addison and the other one is holy cow...good thing I looked it up...NOT in Deep Ellum any longer....moved uptown...

I think Sambuca is the best recommendation I've seen for Jazz and the House of Blues just opened up in the West End if that's their kind of thing. For restaurants I'd suggest Three Forks.

    Brooklyn Jazz Cafe: www.brooklynjazzcafe.com

    Tephejez Cafe: tephejez.com

Both excellent jazz cafes. As far as the best restaurant in town, historically that has been The Mansion on Turtle Creek mansiononturtlecreek.com/ pricey, but a true Dallas experience.

Have them go to the Reunion Tower. There is a restaurant in the ball on the top. It rotates, so you see the entire Dallas skyline in about 45 min. There are lots of fun stores in the West End. These things are fairly close together.

the components is drier in Dallas than Houston. yet as an person no way could I stay in Dallas. there is a lot of DRY countys it sucks. Houston has a much greater suited nightlife any day of the week. additionally Houston has far greater issues to do.

  • There's always Reunion Tower, or two really great Italian restaurants are Carraba's ( Lobster Ravioli is awesome there!) or Campisi's.

Source(s): Old City park is always fun, if they're looking for something to do.

I know the perfect restaurant, it is Italian I'm not really sure where it is, but it is called Campisies, they will need to make a reservation about 2 days in advance, but it is worth it.
