How can I remove a red wine stain from a white cotton skirt?

Soak in cold water ,now pour white wine over it, red wine stains are removed this way, then pop into your machine on a 30ºc wash , or wash by hand .Hang outside in the sun . Any remaining stains will be bleached out the natural way . By the sun

Take a pair of sharp scisors and run vigorusly through the house fro several minutes, all the while being careful not to put your eye out. Then, with scisors in right hand and skirt in left hand, cut a hole out of the skirt that encompasses the red wine stain. Once this is accomplished, you will want to make sure that you are wearing underwear each subsequent time you wear this particular skirt.

Problem solved! You have gotten the stain out of your skirt!

Mix 1/3 cup of white vinegar with 2/3 cup of water. Soak for an hour... check stain. If it is still there but lighter,rub the fabric together and soak a little longer.. then wash in you washer as usual with detergent.

If you already washed it and it didnt come out then its gonna be there a while. try the shout again but let it set in for about 10 mins before you toss it in the wash.

Since your skirt is white that makes things easier. I got the Clorox Bleach Pen a while back and it works GREAT. It's not too expensive either, it was under $5. Good luck!

Use a detergent booster like biz with enzymes for red wine. Soaking first in cold water w/biz for a few hours then wash! Pre-soaking with chlorox 2 will work also.

Soak the white cotton skirt with powder detergent and squeeze slice lemon into stain part before washing... you may try it coz i've tried it and effective... rgds!!!U

I do not know if this will work now - but you are suppose to pour white wine over the stain and it lifts it - but you are suppose to do that first - so next time..........
