Does the latest Vatican Document Invite a Challenge To Papal Authority by Non-catholics?

I am Southern Baptist, but I don't think we should have a response. The person is the only one who knows if he or she has accepted Christ as their personal saviour. Catholics and protestants alike should praise Christ and get non-believers to Christianity and not fight with one another. The pope should focus on uniting and not dividing.

Good question, the best answer would be he is simply another uneducated fundaMENTAList who doesn't feel safe at night unless he caresses his copy of Lorainne Boetteners' "Roman Catholicism". It is truely sad and ironic that there has to be so much division on issues that could bring so much unity. This should be no suprise though. There are many years of strife between catholics and southern baptists, and there isn't a solution that will make everyone happy. But for now, i believe the answer should start with each group taking a honest look at the others' strengths, acknowledging them, and building from there. Keeping in mind that Christs' command for love which brings christian unity.

Personally, i have problems with several things baptists sell as christian doctrine, but i respect them enough to look at what they have right, which is a lot compared to some. we should always honor the truth first and foremost, which is likened to a sword. So let's pray for understanding first, then we might see how steel sharpens steel.

The church herself which our Blessed Mother is Queen and the Bride of Jesus is telling The world That Through Him the Church is His presence on earth, it has always been this way and it is offered in the sacrament of COMMUNION whether it invites a challenge would be like asking if God is God which the Jews had a hard time listening to. I hope that through the Holy Spirit many will come home to our Lords place so that all of humanity may be as one. The gifts receive through His Heavenly place on earth are waiting to be asked for. needless to say, our Protestant brothers and sisters will say no, yet in actuality, they're being willfully disobedient (a minimum of people who know greater suitable). God gave authority to the Pope over His Church. To obey the Pope is to obey God. So, sure, everyone who claims to be Christian is had to obey what God has ordained, meaning spotting and submitting to Papal authority. God bless.

Actually, if the pope wants to get technical, Jesus the Christ and His Disciples; never denounced the religion they were born into. They were devout Jews. The week that Jesus died, they did celebrate Passover- again a Jewish holiday.

Read the NT, you will read reference after reference about Jews, the Jewish faith, Jewish practices, Jewish Laws, and Jewish Synagogues. And before Chirstianity became what it is today. It was called "The Way", again a sect of Judaism; also Christianity in its every beginning was a sect of Judaism.

Acts 9:2 "And asked for letters from him to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to The Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem."

Acts 19:9 "But when some were becoming hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of The Way before the people, he withdrew from them and took away the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus."

In another place they were called "Christians". I right off hand can't remember the exact verse, but I do know that this happened in Antioch.

"All who believe and are baptized will have eternal life."

As far as I am concerned, he (the pope) can say or do what he thinks is necessary for his followers. But he does not have authority over my Christian faith in Jesus as the Chirst or G-d as my Heavenly Father. We are warned by the words of the Bible, not to bow down to any image of anything made under the heavens or on this earth- that means statues and yes, even crosses. It is called Idolatry.

The Bible never says, that Mary was 'bodily' ascended; it clearly says Christ was.

The Bible tells us, that Christ is our Only Intercessor between us and G-d. I have never read anything about 'Mary interceded for us'.

The Bible clearly tells us, that With our Mouths we confess our Sins TO G-d - and He will forgive us our debts (sins / wrongs).

The Bible never said that "the church would be built on Peter". Here is what that passage is actually talking about. Peter had just acknowledged that Jesus WAS and IS the Christ - the Son of G-d. Jesus said "You are right and on this rock (the knowledge that He - Christ - is the Son of G-d) is what the church is built on".

This refers back to an earlier conversation, when we are being taught by Jesus about the house that is built on a foundation of sand - it will not stand. If it is built on a solid foundation, it will stand forever ---- THAT solid foundation is Jesus the Christ (Son of G-d).

Not 'on' Peter, disciple, fisherman, follower; of Christ the Son of G-d. Peter is not a solid foundation -- but having your faith put onto Christ it will not fail.

So, in conclusion, this man known as pope can do what he wants with his followers. I'll stick with Christ Jesus as my solid rock the ever-lasting / eternal foundation, of my beliefs and faith.

Christianity today is a divided christian body and is very sick and is like a drunken man. Although, THE BOOK OF OUR FAITH IN GOD was written by THE LORD GOD before our time began (Dan 7:10). And this spirit of faith is planted into every man's heart of eternity. Likewise, Christianity is a severed spiritual body today and the members of the body are all confrontational. They are the right hand(i)wokers and the legs(workers) of the christian body. They declare that GOD is the TREE OF LIFE which is a title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. These churches are imperfect as they are loveless as their faith is based on laws as a sense of duty and not in their hearts in a sense of love. The 2nd is the Smyrna church spiritually now the Mormons. They worship GOD as THE LAMB OF GOD. They are the life of the body. This relationship is between the MEEK GOD called THE LAMB OF GOD and the meek men called the Saints. They declare that GOD is the CROWN OF LIFE which is a title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. GOD'S comment is that this church is NOT COURAGEOUS and as such is imperfect church. It is so as they are cowering in fear in the Cities; and as Saints they should look for martyrdom so that their blood spilled to the ground will give birth to christian churches. This church is under the LAW. The 3rd is pergamus church which is spiritually now the Born Again and

Fundamentalist. They are the mouth of the Christian body. They worship GOD as the MAN-GOD -LORD JESUS CHRIST. This relationship is between the MAN-GOD AND MEN to prove that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST was a historical man. GOD' S comment is that these churches are imperfect as they are backsliders as they say and they do not do. They declare that GOD is THE TRUE BREAD FROM HEAVEN AND THE ROCK OF SALVATION which is the title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. These churches are under the dispensation of GRACE. The 4th is the thyatira church which spiritually are now the Protestant and Anglican Churches. They are the eyes and feet of the Christian body. They worship GOD as THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS which is one of the titles of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. This relationship is between the POWERFUL GOD and the powerful men. They are the eyes and feet of the Christian body. GOD'S comment is that these churches are imperfect as they are corrupt. They declare that GOD is the SOLE ONE WITH POWER AND GLORY which is a title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. These churches are under the dispensation of GRACE not under the LAW. The 5th is the Sardis church which spiritually are now the scholars, scientology, science churches.'They are the head and mind of the Christian body. They worship GOD who is the ALFA AND THE OMEGA which is one of the titles of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. This relationship is between the HIGHEST AMONG THE PROPHETS and the prophets. GOD'S comment is that this church is dead and thus, is imperfect. It is so as they claimed that their wisdom are from themselves though GOD is the ONE that gives them that wisdom and knowledge and thus, they are dead to GOD. They declare that GOD is THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK OF LIFE which is a title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. These churches are under the dispensation of GRACE not under the law. The 6th is the Philadelphia which spiritually is now the miracle workers-MIRACLE CRUSADERS. They are the heart of the body. They worship GOD as the BRIDEGROOM which is a title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST; and HIS relationship is loving faithfully HIS wife but as a bride eternally. This church is perfect as the love of GOD makes them perfect. They declare that GOD is the AUTHOR OF OUR FAITH IN GOD which is a title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. These churches are under the dispensation of GRACE not under the LAW. The 7th is the laodicia spiritually now the Catholics, Ecumenical Church and the Eastern Othodox church. They worship GOD IN THE SPIRIT called EMMANUEL which is one of the titles of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, as they are also the majority parts of the Christian body and thus, are everywhere. GOD's comment is that these churches are lukewarm and thus, are imperfect. This is so as the majority parts of the human body is lukewarm in temperature and at 37 degrees centigrade a body has a fever and lower than that a body is dead. They declare that GOD is the HOST OF THE LORD'S SUPPER which is a title of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. All these seven churches are imperfect churches except the Philadelphia Church made perfect by THE LOVE OF GOD. Today, they are divisive because of Satan's deception of divide and conquer. Physically today, they are the seven churches on Earth. In 4BC, they were the seven churches in Asia. But In the HAND OF GOD thus, being perfect, they are the seven churches in the spirit. In the coming reign of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, they will be called THE SEVEN CHURCHES OF GOD AND OF CHRIST in the universal church. Additionally, the GOD worshipped by these seven churches are all the titles of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST such as ABBA-EVERLASTING FATHER; THE LAMB OF GOD; THE WORD OF GOD; THE KING OF KINGS; THE ALFA AND THE OMEGA; THE BRIDEGROOM AND EMMANUEL. Thus, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST wears many crowns. Moreover, these seven churches in the spirit held by THE HAND OF THE LORD is the symbol of the UNITY OF THE FAITH. And at John 17:23 THE LORD JESUS CHRIST prayed for the UNITY OF THE FAITH saying FATHER whom YOU have given ME that they maybe made perfect as WE ARE ONE. Likewise, one of the hidden titles of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is HE breaches the walls of division and walls of hostility among the deceived believers.
