How do you flush a steam boiler?

Could someone tell me the steps to flushing a steam boiler? How often does it have to be done?

    when the water glass gets rust just open the bottom boiler spigot slowly and the water will drain outt and you will see the glass clear up,make sure boiler is off.you will probably empty ou 2 buckets, depending on age of boiler every couple of months.

    First, get a really big toilet.

    Next, make sure you have a lot of water pressure.

    Third, place the steam boiler in the really big toilet.

    Fourth, flush.

    (Be sure to have a large plunger nearby, those steamers can get pretty cranky.)

    I've flushed a steamy pile (of crap), but never a steam boiler. :~)
