Why hasn't KISS been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, aren't they more than worthy?

KISS may never be inducted which is a waste.

I have been a fan for much longer then I care to admit, but the critics and the "smart" music people hated them then and still do.

I love all types of music but I will always be a KISS fan

It seems a lot of the bands that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame recently are pretty undeserving, especially over the bands that havent been inducted yet.

Kiss did nothing inovative or creative. They really just thrived on what had been done before. Yes, they had some hits and lots of sales but what did they contibute anything new? They were just a glorified cover band in my book.

Every band or artist in The RnR HOF list brought something new to the table. Kiss just profited from their work.

KISS won't make it in UNLESS, there's a shakeup with the commitee. A few members openly stated KISS will never make it in, but seeing as all the hard rock bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Van Halen have begun to make it in, KISS's time may come...but it'll be a long time.

The only music I listen to is classic rock. I listen to Kiss alot but I don't love them. But I do agree that they are good enough to be in the hall of fame.

No they used to say that Led Zeppelin wanted to be the beatles & Kiss wanted to be Coke theyre just way too commercial & theyre songs are overrated sometimes but still I mean theyre one of the best bands over the last 30 years I guess

A lot of people will hate me for this but i'll say it anyways. Kiss really isn't that great. Besides Rock n roll all night(or whatever the name is) nobody knows their songs. And only one guy in Kiss is really noted, Gene Simmons.

KISS sucks, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a joke.

Alot of good bands haven't. Like Yes and Rush. The Hall of Fame's a joke.

But personally. I don't really like KISS

I just took a look at all the inductees of the HOF. No way KISS belongs with them. They seem to get way more credit than they deserve simply because of their rabid fan base and the marketing mindset of one Gene Simmons. Take all that away and you have an ordinary band.
