Unless your son has a good reason to move in with his father, if you have been raising him successfully so far, I don't know that it's going to be easy for your husband to get custody. IF the 18-year old is out of High School, and is not going to college, then there is no custody and no child support. If he goes to college, there is child support to be paid until graduation or age 22. Why would you consent to giving up your son? If he takes the son, you will have to pay child support.
