The above quote does not indicate her bias opinion against gay rights--at least I did not come to that conclusion.

What she says has always varied depending on who she was talking to.

She now claims that she supports civil unions... but marriage is between a man / woman..

civil unions are to have the same legal standings as marriage..

Regardless of the personal habits, thoughts, actual private actions, politicians have, do, and will continue to, say ANYTHING to ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYWAY, to extend their self edification towards the masses. I wonder- does Hillary really think that being married to a slob entitles her to be a lesbian ( or at least a lesbian supporter) ??

But - I think she made this comment so the rumors about herself and which way she sways wouldn't come out.

She is probabley pro-gay unions not pro-gay marriage, there is a difference.

Hillary says whatever her audience wants to hear at the time. If she's with gays, she becomes pro-gay. If she's with Christians, she becomes anti-gay.
