Well when your curling your hair and you get to the crown area you need to lift your hair straight up and kinf of comb it toward the front its called overdirecting your hair.And start curling from the roots its easier to use a bigger barrel curling iron you dont want to have the imprint fom the curling iron in your hair you know the line. Its kinda like to get volume in your hair you would blow dry it to the front brushing all your hair forward while blowdrying or maybe just the crown area, that would give it volume too.
