Ladies: At what age did you really know what you wanted out of life?
I always thought I knew what I wanted, but when I hit 35, it was like I had an epiphany. All those decisions I had just guessed at suddenly had such clear answers. I looked around at my family, my job, my home and I wanted to kick myself in the butt. Repeatedly. At what age did you realize what you wanted? And did you have any regrets or were you happy with the choices you made?

At 35 or 36 it hit me. And basically all I wanted in life was to be loved by my husband and be productive. I feel like I've survived all the craziness of my 20's, the kid is grown and out of the house. I just want to go to work and be able to leave that drama there when my shift is up. Come home and hang out with my husband. I'll never be the things I wanted to be when I was younger. But I'm happy that I'm still here.

age 6 9__9 no joke!!!
i decided at age 6 that i wanted to become a computer programmer.
well...now i'm 17...and it was only less than a year ago that i decided to not fullfill my childhood dream and instead go into an easier and higher paying career...international business...
i've always wanted to live in a different country
since prob. age 9, i decided that i would never need my mom's support again once i finished schooling
since highschool i've decided on marrying a foreigner(not North American lol)
i'm happy with the choices i've set for myself, although i have to admit that i never really had that carefree teenagehood lol...more like...workhoodXDXDXDbut i know it will pay off and soon i'll be super rich!
one of my goals is to have to take a plane from my new country into the states for my highschool reunion in 10 or 15 years and to be happily married to the man of my dreams, to be gorgeous, rich, have donated loads of money, kind, and happy=D i wanna show that all my hard work payed off...
i also want to make sure that my mom doesn't have to suffer any more poverty through her old age!!! i want her to live the rest of her life happily and not have to worry for once!!!
=D

I'm still working on that now. And so far the only thing I have ever regretted was spending so many years being brain washed by my parents into thinking that some day I would be a lawyer or a judge. I'm glad I'm just 20 and still have time to figure it out. And I'm glad you figured it out for yourself as well as the saying goes, better late than never.

Now (28). I've wanted to kick myself in the butt for some previous decisions, too. LOL :)
