The idea is nonsense; it won't happen.

Just reading tonight where 36,000 in Brazil have been stung by invading numbers of that countries worst breed of scorpion! Wonder if there are some DNA and stem cell scientists working to put eyes and wings on those puppies; along with a taste for steroids and pork?

I wouldn't worry about all this. People can't wake up. Year by year people have been spiritually anesthetized to the fact that humans are marching lock step to insanity with a big push to chaos from nature. The rapture is already underway and tribulation has already started. When the last of the elect have stepped through the curtain of time; well you don't want to be here. Most don't know what the mark is, and have already taken it.

The real question is: Do you have the Holy Spirit? Without it you cannot step out of here. If you must stay, you cannot escape torment without the seal. As far as who will be president and what will happen after that and what will happen in Israel, we already know.

As for a rapture: On any given day there are 300 plus unidentified bodies in the morgue of every major U.S. city. Figure the number of major cities world wide and multiply by 300. That will give you a rule of thumb for the bare minimum number who could be raptured from this world and never missed.

Bottom line. The world will not wake up. Things taught and all the books and movies paint a false picture for them and actually assure that they will be left behind.

Since there is no mention of "The Rapture" anywhere in the Bible that I can find, I am not worried about it at all.

The Christian's have been governing this country for so long and take a look at where we are today. This country was founded by those of different cultures, races, and beliefs. It is about time we get some new blood in here.

I am a Christian and there is no such thing as the rapture. The quotes from the New Testament used to support such an idea are misinterpreted.

And the Book of Revelation is apocalyptic literature and cannot be rightly read to apply to the present. It was written as a book of hope for Christians in a time of persecution. It is not being fulfilled in 2007.

stop listening to what they said who are they? and where did you get rapture at its not in the Bible and start reading the bible your self and

It doesn't once you wiki "rapture" and get a little more info on how long the idea has been around and what kind of biblical "support" it has.

You've drawn your conclusions about the rapture, etc., based on modern interpretations of biblical prophecies. Every generation, the prophecies are reinterpreted. I'm not worried about it.

Oh, people have thought the "rapture" was coming for centuries, and Jesus still isn't here.
