How should I best handle a coworker who talks incessantly?

Put a plastic bag over their head and tape it tightly around their neck. I guarantee within 5 minutes they won't be talking again. Make sure their hands are taped too so they cannot remove the plastic bag.

I've always used a nice 20 lb. paper, carefully rolled into a tight ball, and shoved as far back in the throat as possible without choking. I then cover the mouth with a nice, sturdy duct tape.

Tell them that unlike some people, you are actually trying to work and if they don't get the hint that way, ignore them and walk away right in the middle of their conversation with you.

Give them a taste of their own medicine. Talk at them and don't let them get a word in just keep talking. Make sure what your telling them is really boring, long and drawn out. Works for me every time.

I usually do unto others as they do unto to me. I teach people lessons by showing them what it's like to experience what they put upon us. Example - my smart mouth teenager didn't like it when I got smart mouthed with her. I have always been this way.

Shove a sock in their mouth and wrap in duct tape. Or you can walk away, or say "oh, I forgot to do something" and rush off.

say dont u have any work to do if not i do and i dont have time to talk to u right now. if that doesnt work use some duct tape

I would not handle him at all. In fact, tell him to put that thing away!

Look over, pretend that you really care and then pick your nose.

Works every time.

Just listen to it and walk away as they are going to say what they are going to say anyway!
