I got sunburnt 2 weeks ago in spain and i must say, the pain was horrific!

There is no 'cure' as such, but i definitaly took my fair share of painkillers at the time, to stop the pain.

After 3 days the pain will stop, but the skin really does lack in moisture, so a good moistuiser is a must!

Drink lots of water and fresh fruit to try and rehydrate the skin.

Ibuprofen not only for the pain but also the inflammation that can sometimes accompany it. Aloe vera gel is great for the burn...don't get all that added ingredient stuff. Our Dollar General store carries a huge bottle of it for $2.00. If you start seeing blisters, you should let your physician know as an infection could start. If the burn is bad enough a physician will prescribe some TMC cream and some Silver Sulfidine which are both Rx's but really really awesome in getting it to heal more quickly. Drink lots to stay hydrated. Hope this helps.

No "cure" but time. You can, at least, get some pain relief with some first aid spray.

But, you really don't want to do anything else to the burn. Sunburn is a first degree burn and should be treated as such. If it actually blisters, it is a second degree burn. You don't want to pop the blisters and you shouldn't peel the sunburn. Either of these activities can potentially lead to infection and some very serious problem.

When the burn eventually starts to peel, just let the dead skin slough off. It sounds gross, but you just gotta do it.

Best thing for sunburn, otherwise is to take precautions to prevent it.

If you can find an aloe plant you tear a leaf off and place is over the burn. Be sure that you have some of the juices coming out.

When you get sun burnned, put aloe vera on it. You know that green gel? It 'takes the heat out of it' and it makes it feel better. Hope this helps.
