It is not uncommon to feel lightheaded or dizzy occasionally when pregnant, because your cardiovascular system undergoes dramatic changes. Your heart rate goes up, your heart pumps more blood per minute and the amount of blood in your body expands 40 to 45 percent.

Normally, your cardiosvascular system adjusts to all these changes, but occasionally they don't, which can leave you feeling a little lightheaded. This is why some women faint during pregnancy.

As soo as you begin to feel this way, lie down so that you don't fall down. If you are somewhere that is not possible, sit down and try to put your head between your knees (which may be difficult at 36 weeks).

Lie on your left side when sleeping. This maximizes the flow of blood to your heart and brain and minimizes these occurrences.

And avoid the following: standing too fast, lying on your back (this can actually create this sensation especially in your last trimester) not drinkin g enough water and eating enough food, or getting overheated.

    Good luck with your baby

    Dizziness 36 Weeks Pregnant

This all rings a bell to me! I as well as many of my girl friends have felt the same way! These feelings can start as early as the first tremester so your lucky! The best first step? Sit down. Not only will that help the dizziness subside, but also you'll keep yourself from falling. If you're in a stuffy office or crowded subway, then fresh air may be a solution. Or if you haven't eaten for an hour or two, a quick, healthy snack will help boost your blood sugar. Also try drinking some water or juice. (In general, keep yourself well hydrated by drinking at least eight to ten glasses of water a day.) Simply moving into a lower gear can help, for instance, getting up slowly and smoothly instead of springing from a chair or bed. In some cases you can't do anything except sit or lie down and wait it out. Waves of dizziness can and probably will crash down upon you at any time during pregnancy.

    hope this helps good luck!

It sounds like you may have High Blood Pressure, or even maybe high or low blood sugar levels. It shouldnt be completely unbearable, however if you cant hardly walk then get into the doc now. However if you have an appointment tomorrwo then try laying down and taking a rest and eat an apple or banana or yogurt, somethign with natural sugar. but not too much. You might wan tto call yoru doc and give them aheads up or soemthing. When i was 6 months preggo with ym son i passed otu adn had a seizure. They couldnt tell em what it was from adn with ym daughte ri had the same thing, however my doc never took it serious, i was lucky i had a healthy happy baby girl. But just relax, yoru doc will figure it out and hopefulyl help you. But i would call to give a heads up and get an opinion on what you might be able to do tonite before your doc app tomorrow.

The Ultimate Vertigo Protocol is like having a real human guide you to a vertigo free life. As soon as I started to apply the method, I have noticed improvements. Now, 7 days later, it feels like living a miracle. I would highly recommend this book to I anyone with vertigo & dizziness

Use a vegetable bean dip such as hummus instead of ranch dressing or possibly a fatty cream-based dip.

Decaf coffee is a wonderful low-calorie fluid when you're having cravings (and a terrific source of antioxidants).

Don't confuse hunger with hunger. Drink a glass of water after you feel hungry to see in the event that's what you're really craving.

Do your trips to market with a list and a time limit; that way, you're not as likely to stray into the refined foods section.

I had the same feelings with my son. I went to see my ob and she put me on bed rest. I ended up having high blood pressure and was on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy, until 41 weeks. Go see your doctor.
