Should India's president elected by public voting ?
Shoud the president of India elected by public voting like US? All the law that will be implemented will be approved by the both house of parliament. if majority of both house will vote against the president to leave the position he has to resign.

By seeing current situation of APJ and patil's, i feel the public voting will be the better option for president of india. Otherwise, politics will change the whole scenario.

Yes in the current political system indian president should be elected by the people as in the current hung assembly situation the president has a major role to play and if it will be from the people than we can see an stronger president like Dr Abdul Kalm.

I think that Indian citizens should directly elect their President. That way, we would not have to lament a people's president like Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam leaving Rashtrapati Bhavan because the majority of our elected representatives in their collective wisdom decided that Dr. Kalam shall not continue for a second term, whereas the majority of the Indians wanted him to continue as their President. But their wish was not honoured.

This root not currect.because INDIAs population verry high.All people dont have particepated this election.Pressident first citizen of INDIA but they not for free decission maker.They are controled by parliment.current root also best root.
