What is involved in a pedicure? I am considering getting my first one.?

Do they massage your feet? Do they exfoliate the skin? Do they file the nails? I have very short toenails, should I bother with polish? How long does it take? Thanks in advance.

    a pedicure usually consist of:

soaking feet in warm, soapy water

    exfoliation of dry, rough skin

some spas offer callous removers at an extra charge

file and shape nails, regardless of the length

    massage legs and feet

paint nails - some spas offer air brush coloring - of course at an extra charge

that's about it - if you have a good spa the chairs have back massagers

    have fun - enjoy!
